Yoga

There is a yoga for every level and every body whether you’re a beginner or seasoned yogi. Whether your goal is to increase flexibility, increase stamina, reduce stress or just feel better in your skin – there’s a yoga for you. Here’s what we offer :

Hatha Yoga  – Slow, soulful and aware…

Hatha yoga is a good starting point for many beginners. It’s the origin of yoga from which all other yoga styles stem. It is a soulful, gentle, slower-paced yoga with minimal flows between poses, making it an ideal class for first-timers. While you may not leave sweating (however, it’s not a gaurantee !) you’ll likely leave feeling taller, stronger, relaxed and aware.

Vinyasa Yoga –  Go with the flow…

Vinyasa yoga is the most popular form of yoga among yogis. In Vinyasa, breath initiates movement. Inhaling and exhaling will connect you from one pose to the next and through your entire flow. Vinyasa’s strength is in its diversity : classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike. If you appreciate having things a little loose and unpredictable and like to keep moving (and work up a sweat), this style is definitely worth a try.

Yin Yoga – Breathe and let go…

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with seated postures that are held for longer periods of time. Yin is a great class for beginners, as postures are held for longer periods than other yoga styles. Yin can also be a meditative yoga practice that helps you find inner peace – umm, yes please !  Gravity does most of the work in this class, so just breathe and let go.

Move Your Flow

This class is a blend of both yoga poses, flows and strength training creating an efficient and cohesive workout. Move your flow allows you to find balance both in your mind and in your body, while making your muscles work.

Wednesday 12h30 – 13h30
Thursday 7h30 – 8h30

Prenatal Yoga – Breathe, Mama, breathe…

Adapted for “moms-to-be” in all trimesters, prenatal yoga is considered one of the best types of exercise for expectant moms. Aside from the physical benefits of pelvic floor work, releasing tensions and total body strengthening (gently of course !), focusing on breath, managing stress and centering the mind all combine to help you enjoy the most of your changing body, your pregnancy and help prepare you for D-day.

Babe+Me Yoga – Yoga for two !

Babe+me yoga is a fun and simple way to connect with baby. For mom (or dad), yoga can (among many other advantages) boost energy, reduce tension, and improve posture. For baby, touch and social interaction are just a couple of many benefits. Poses are chosen and adapted to either include baby in your arms, or for you to move while baby is comfy on the mat. We know baby will get hungry and sometimes need a change – no big deal ! Class atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Plus, it’s a fun way to get out the house and meet other parents.
